travels from 90 to west yellowstone
Just wondering from I-90 do we take 287 or the 191 down to west yellowstone

I can't swear to it, but I think 191 was a pretty good road (when I drove it a few years ago) and lots of scenery.

I took 191 and it is a beautiful drive. There is construction along the way but only 1/2 mile and no more that 15 mins delay. The river flowing/running agains you is beautiful. I would do it again.

We just took 287 going from West Yellowstone to Missoula. It was a good road as well. I don't think you can go wrong with either road. It was shorter for us to go 287.
