Speaker bracket

The bracket that holds one of the cube speaker above the couch broke. I did a search and found a few postings with the same problem. As per suggestions made I checked Radio Shack, Walmart, Best Buy and Car Toys with no luck. I will search the web but was wondering if there were any other suggestions.

The bracket holds the round knob at the top of the speaker. I checked all speakers and the sub woofer looking for a mfg. w/o any luck.

I had one break, too. I hope someone has a recommendation for a solution or provider. I am almost ready to use electrical tape to hold it together.

When mine broke, I glued the broken bracket and then wrapped it in "rescue tape", and it's held for two years full-timing on the road.

There is some generic brackets at Best Buy that have different screws to fit different speakers. I used them on my speakers.

I bought a pair at Radio Shack, not all Shacks have them but they do have a set that is universal and accepts the different size balls. Keep looking, they are out there.

Our local Best Buy carries them also. But a google search brings up lots of sites including this one with lots of choices.

a1components.com is where I ordered the brackets from. I found the same at two other sites for the same price. By the description, I think they are metal. $10.99@ + shipping so I ordered 2.
