Pahrump, Nevada Campgrounds?

I see many of you fellow MOC'rs have spent time in Pahrump, Nevada and Bullhead City - suggestions of places, do's and don'ts in these places please. We are planning a future winter months stay in this area and would appreciate input. Thanks -

Ed,
About a year ago we stayed at Pahrump Station RV Resort. In the $30 range per night. We were there only a couple of nights. Appeared to be well kept.
We were way in the back and people had problems accessing the free WiFi. I used an external antenna with a WiFi Adapter and did not have a problem.
The RV park is part of the Best Western Motel with about 55 spaces available out of 158 total spaces. I spoke with a couple of RVers there and they have spend about two months at a time.
The water is very hard. However that can be a common thing in parts of the west.
Overall I would say it is a pretty nice place to stay.

On Edit: I think at times in the winter it could get pretty chilly. Farther south in AZ would be much warmer.

Pahrump Station is nice. If you don't mind a little smaller spot Westward Ho casino has cheap rates with players card, $275 a month

We stayed here at Terrible Herbst Cascino and RV park for a week. Beautiful park and cheap. Not sure how long you can stay. Check out these two websites

We recently (last week..11-12 thru 11-19) stayed in Needles, California at The Palms River Resort for $198.00 a week. Their bulletin says the monthly rate is $375 - $400 + Electric.

The convenience here (or maybe inconvenience) is that within 20 minutes of this Park you can be in 3 states (California, Nevada, Arizona) and a Sovereign Nation! The only inconvenience is knowing what time it is ...hour difference.

Condition of the campground (park) is excellent. Started out being a manufactured home on the Colorado River park. Economy last year changed the plans and they added RV's and are very receptive to the needs of RVers.

We would (and will) go again! I/we were quite surprised how beautiful the sunsets were! Temps...daytime - 70 - 80; nightime...cool..40 - 50.

Much to do in the area...Oatman...Lake Havasu...days drive to Quartzsite!!!
