I do not know if it removes the wax or not. I certainly can not tell by the appearance. Fact is, I have always put on some fresh wax after cleaning the front cap. Just to be clear, I just started following this procedure the last couple of times I cleaned off the RV. I almost always clean the front cap upon return from a trip, but not the entire trailer. I probably do the complete washing a couple of time a year.

Thanks, being on the road fulltime I do a lot of cleaning off of bugs. I probably wouldn't want to re-wax the front cap each time. I doubt it takes the wax off. I'll check the label next time I'm in that basement locker. We're set up in one place now until after Christmas and I already did the post-road cleanup.

Thanks again.
