leaking

We bought a new Montana 3585SA in March. We love it except for a few aggravating problems. There are several leaks. We took it into the dealer last week because the carpet is staying wet by the front door and he said it was the toilet flange that was loose. He tightened it and we were on our way. Our carpet is still wet so my husband noticed that it was leaking in the storage closet. He fixed it and when we turned on the main water valve we could hear water running. We are in the process of trying to find the leak. It looks like the underbelly is holding water. Any ideas on what is causing the leak?

dannykaren, if you have leaking in the underbelly, you may have some loose connections in your plumbing system. We had many when our unit was new. Once they were secured, we've been dry.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your new rig.

Thanks for your help. We've had many loose connections. Danny fixed a big one yesterday as well as caulking around the shower. We thought everything was good until I got up this morning and it's wet again in front of the door. I guess he will have to try and solve the mystery again today. I just hope the carpet and floor can hold up to being wet for so long.

Does your model have the washer/dryer prep in the closet by the front door? If so, there are water connections in there...

No, our washer/dryer prep is in the corner of the bedroom.
