Help - Graphics fading

We have a 2002 Montana 3280 and everything really is still in good condition with the exception of the decals (graphics) - starting to fade, especially the front. We have always tried to keep it waxed but guess the San Diego sun was too much for it this last winter. Does anyone know if Keystone would still have those decals in stock? and how does one contact Keystone to ask them such a question?

Hate to spend the money for a new rig just because the decals make it look worn out.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I think you can understand that as the rigs age the graphics are going to fade some. Ours is a 2000 model and although the graphics have faded I never thought of that as being a problem, only fair wear and tear. Our graphics, although faded somewhat, are still recognizable and don't look bad. Some people do trade when (and sometimes before) the graphics fade, but I think that's a waste of money. Just keep waxing periodically and keep the unit clean. It will still look better than a lot of other brands out there that are brand new.

I e-mailed Keystone and they answered right back with the info that I could order decals at any time through a dealer.

Now I just have to figure out how to get the old one off.

try a heat gun or hair dryer and a plastic spatula like they use to apply body putty.then clean up with laquer thinner. That's the easy part. Then you have to get the new decals on straight with no wrinkles.

HOLD ON - not sure I would use laquer thinner on that nose clip, or it won't just be the decals you'll be scooping up with a spatula! We did permanent damage to our old Monty just by using bug and tar remover.

I think I would ask a body shop or RV shop first.

I just had a new decal installed on the front and they used a razor blade (very carefully) and did it in the full hot sun. Took about an hour to remove the old one and then they had a special solution to remove the old glue. I think Goo Gone would do the same thing.
After this they cleaned with alcohol then installed new decal.
The whole job took them two hours and fifteen minutes.
They charged by the hour. I ordered the decal from Keystone through the dealer.
They had a hard time lining the new one up with the curve side to side and top to bottom but they got it perfect.

I've used a hair dryer and single edged razor blade. Then clean up the left over goo with acetone, very carefully. Never had a problem.
