Happy Independence Day
I hope all of you have a wonderful July 4th celebration. Also, remember our men and women in uniform as they are serving us and offer a prayer for their safety. God Bless America!!!
We're celbrating at home tomorrow and will then be leaving for Tennessee and points north to Pennsylvania.

Great 4th of July here at the FCRV campvention. We are a international organization , USA and Canada. Last night we celebrated our Birthday with a patriotic program. The average Canadian is fiercely proud of their flag and country as we are. There are a lot Of Canadians here and I think everyone of them took the stares and stripes when they were handed out and joined with us in celebrating our birthday. When the campvention was In Canada a couple of years ago the Canadian version of the " American Legion" opened their building to us and welcomed us as brothers in arms. We are very much the same people.. North Americans..

We had the opportunity to Celebrate Canada Day while we were visiting friends in Terrace, BC in 2000. We had a great time but were not up to taking a dip in glacier fed Kleansa (sp?)Creek. We had a great cookout with our northern neighbors! We were introduced to Bocce Ball and have been playing ever since.
