Balance tires?

Should you have your trailer tires balanced. My dealer seems to think it is not necessary. Your opinions are welcome. Thanks

When I replace the originals I have them balanced, but I've never had it done on the original set.

I balance my tires on my all my vehicles. I don’t ride in my camper but without the tires being balanced they are still vibrating and shaking it. Not good for the suspension or the rest of the camper.

When I bought the Sailuns my dealer also said that balancing is not necessary for trailer tires. I did not balance at that time but I did order Centramatic balances and installing this weekend.

TrailerTiresandWheels balanced mine using the correct Lug method and not hub method without me having to point it out.

I balance all my tires and fill with nitrogen. Probably not necessary but WTH it is not that much money and it gives me peace of mind (priceless).

I fill my tires with 78% nitrogen, cheaper than 100%.

I always balance all tires, rig and TV. Hub centric on the TV and lug centric on the rig.

Bought Goodyear G614's last year and had them balanced. Like others suggested, use lug centric balancing. Unfortunately not all shops have that option available.

When I had my Saiun's put on I had them balanced but the tire dealer said it wasn't necessary and that I was the first person to ask for it.

If you've ever seen a wheel hopping up and down while traveling down the highway it seems prudent to balance, IMHO.
