2010 Census

Has any non-stick house owning fulltimers had any experience with the last Census ?
In our case, South Dakota PMB is residence of record, but actual residence is wherever we are.
Just wondering if we will get a census form ( with a PMB )to fill out and what/how one might respond.

If the SD PMB is your legal residence (the place where you vote) then you will likely receive the proper paperwork for the census for you to fill out and return.

Interesting question ... so I emailed my girlfriend who has worked for the census for several years and asked her. Here's her response ...

Yes, your legal residence would be the correct one to use on the Census form....even tho the question reads "where were you living on April 1, 2010"....and you weren't living there, in actuality....but any place you would've been on April 1st was just as a visitor, not a resident.

We emailed our S.D. mail service, Myhomeaddress.com, and Ron told me that there might be a form to fill out, but as of about the first of the year, he hadn't seen any. I've requested our mail to arrive on Monday, Feb 22, and probably will have a better answer then. I'll post here iwth results whether or not we receive the census form.
