Pretty sure they're made by Dexter. Other than that, specs may vary by axle or even trailer model possibly. That's all I have found in my research of the brake system other than it is a EoH system and may require an additional box to work with older in dash (insert vehicle manufacture) trailer brake controller.

assuming it is a new 2019/20 you may want to get with the dealer and have them install before you ship. also you may have to modify your truck.

The disc brakes are installed as part of the Legacy Package - The truck will be sourced locally in New Zealand - The reason I need to know the make and model we have to have a manual emergency/hand brake on the trailer as it will not be installed with air brakes. The caliper is modified with a piston lever (modification is certified) but to ensure I can get the right size caliper I need to now the disc/caliper model installed. As the system is E/H the interface between the truck and trailer is essentially easy.

The trailer brake controllers,(which you will need) I have seen or owned have a manual option. The trailer is also equipped with a break away switch that applies the brakes in the event of a detachment.

Hi, we have just purchased a Montana 3120RL with the Legacy package. We are importing the trailer into New Zealand where we are required to install a manual Emergency Brake. this is usually accomplished by replacing the calipers on the rear disc's. I am trying to get the specification/part number of the fitted calipers. I have attached a link to an example of the modified calipers. https://www.trailerpartsnz.com/produ...al-park-p-2277

More than likely you will Dexter OEM 7k Wheel ends as your Disc Brakes. There is the possibility of you having Kodiak or Titan as well ( but not likely as they were just used on the initial Legacy units.

For what it worth. Our 2019 legacy has a dexter electric over hydraulic pump, but the brake calipers say Titan 2.50. The hub ends have oil type hubcaps but the bearings are greased.

bottomline is you won't know exactly what they are until you get your trailer.

It appears so - Very frustrating when you cannot even get information out of Keystone and the generic information that they do provide is incorrect. i.e. the Legacy Brochure clearly shows Dexter Calipers.

Send me a picture of your axle tag, or the pet number that is on the tag and so can tell you what you have. Rich Raeder

You have Kodiak disc brakes on this axle. The caliper is Dexter part number 089-250-15. The Kodiak part number is DBC-250-E. I’d suggest contacting Dexter Service and Warranty at warranty@dexteraxle.com or calling them at 574-295-7888. They will more than likely help you to get it fixed. Tell them Rich Raeder told you to contact them. The first thing they will ask for is the information on your axle tag. You can also email me at rraeder@dexteraxle.com if you have any more questions.
