Weather

The weather has been crazy.. Coldest weather in decades in Florida. We used over $100.00 of propane per month and we were not warm and toasty. Now back home in Ohio and it was 36 yesterday morning and we are sort of near Lake Erie. High of 56 today.. Just checked the date...it is May 11th.Talked to the Campground where we will hold the Great Lakes rally up on the Lake and it was .....28 degrees over night a couple of nights ago. Cold rain today. The 3400 is apart in the driveway and work is at a standstill. There is no end it sight. Helen wants to go back to Florida.... Does anyone have warm camping weather.

It's just as crappy here in Michigan, rain all day and a high of 44, we should have stayed in AZ another month

Rich and Helen, we are orig from Youngstown and can easily relate to your weather. However, we now live near Ft Lauderdale and it is near 90 here. We plan to escape from Fla this Thursday headed for an extended trip to cal, then up the west coast to seatlle then aceoss the Northern US for a visit to Ohio. If all goes well we will make the Nat rally in Indiana. Hope to meet you somtime.

Rich, it's 83* and sunny at our winter feeding grounds in Port Aransas, TX. Like Helen thinking about Fla, I'm wondering why we aren't at PortA !! Best wishes, Jay and Kathy

Rich, When we left Phoenix last week it was 96. Yuma was about the same, but here in San Diego it is 60 degrees right now. Been up in the high 70s and low 80s. That is what I call "Ideal" camping weather. We are heading north as the planet warms up and will end up on the coast of Oregon for the hot months, then back to San Diego in the fall with winter in Casa Grande, AZ. As they say, come on out, the weathers fine!!!~!!!!

We defiantly left Flrida to early. This season Helen wants to go down a couple of weeks later and stay a couple of weeks longer. We have the Florida weather up on the PC. It is in the 90's all week. Our summer travels are all in this part of the country. Indiana, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio. Our first outing is the first week in June for the NE Rally. I am from that part of the country.. It better warm up soon..

It has been in the high 80s to mid 90s for the last few weeks here in Hardeeville SC but we are leaving for KC MO Friday morning. Figure on getting there the 18th or 19th. Checked weather back in northern Wisconsin and it snowed Saturday and they are still freezing at night. The longer they have that kind of weather the longer we stay south... Dave and Betsy

Not much better here in Colorado. (Al Gore's revenge?)

Planted veggies twice and if they don't make it this time, I will just go to the store and buy stuff!

Hey Rich, Nancy and I are at our favorite hide-away in NW Wisconsin and we had 1" of wet snow three days ago. Lets hear it for global warming!

It's 90 in north Texas...the locals are saying it's running 12 to 15 degrees hotter than the norm.
