Glen, I think you are right, there are probably many more full-timers than are listed. It took us 2 months of monitoring this site, prior to posting and message. We should encourage all those who are just looking, to actually ask their questions. This is a very intelligent group, that has a lot of experience.

Bill, I know i'm right. I personally know at least 3 MOC full timers, not mentioning any names, out there who have not posted as yet. All 3 have made others posts within the last few months so I know they are still around. One even signed up for the fall rally.

Glenn, since the number of months I reported keeps changing, if you want you can change ours to a start date of 3/21/03 if you want, next time you update the list.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

I have been at it from August 2005. I started in a 27 foot Komfort but moved up to the 3500RL in June. I am now a resident of the Nellis AFB campground in Las Vegas and will be until the railroad moves me. The campground is very nice but I think I will enjoy it more when it cools off!

We moved into our 1st fifth wheel on October 1, 1999. Bought the Montana in May, 2001. We would rate our experiences at a 10 and plan to continue fulltiming as long as we are able.

Maria and I have Full-Timing for a month now and love it. We had a Lance Truck Camper and worked/lived out of it for 9 months. And lived aboard a boat off and on for 25 years. RVing is much easier mentally and physically than the boat life. Mama says that if we'd done RVing first, she'd have never moved on a boat.:-)

With the understanding that we're still in the Honeymoon, we give it a 9.

As of Thursday, Aug. 31st, 2006 we will officially be FULL-TIMERS.
Yipeeeeee! Definitely going to the fall rally. We are loving our 3400rl. Almost finished packing, and cannot believe the space. I know we will still have to downsize even more, but it will happen. All the great information on this forum has helped make the choices and transition so much easier.
Looking forward to meeting everyone at the rally.

Floyd and Carol, you need to drop down south a little to Goshen and join us for the Fall Rally, Sept. 21-27. We've got a great group gathering there. Some are on the road all the way from Oregon.

We sold our house and went fulltime in February 06 and are enjoying our freedom to travel. I would rate the experience a 9 so far but the DW isn't sure how we will do this winter now that we are settled in a park in Gulf Shores Alabama and won't move again until April.
We plan fulltiming as long as our health and the RV allow.

We've sold our townhome and are in the middle of packing everything up. Moving day is 9 Nov 06, and everything goes into storage except what we'll need in our rig. We will be full-timers for about a year. We will be living in an RV park in Long Beach CA until we retire at the end of March '07, then on the road for a while (including the Spring Rally in Buellton!) then on to Prescott AZ where our new home will be built. Hopefully, we'll be in it by Sept/Oct '07.

This will be a real test of our marriage!

Nancy an I have fulltimed since oct 1998. We really enjoy this kind of life. We sold our house in chattanooga then a couple weeks later our acreage and barn in ky, so all we own is in our monty and ford truck! We would rate our experience a 10 !!
