vent caps on roof

There are 2 vent caps on the roof of my 2006 that I don't know the purpose of. They are 5 1/2" screw on caps. Can someone tell me what they are for and where I can get replacements.

Thanks, patandjohn

patandjohn,
someone posted this site for the vent caps you are asking about.

Those vents serve to vent the roof attic of the rig.
The top will come off if you screw the top off. It is a good idea to check those from time to time to make sure they are secure.

Two years ago, both of mine became brittle. Ordered replacement from Camping World. Very easy to replace.

You can also get them from any Montana dealer.

Lost one of ours last year! To bad you have to buy the whole assembly instead of just buying the cap itself! Anyway, got mine from an RV tech somewhere in our travels. Anyone need the bottom part??
