Follow-up on Level Up going off level in storage
Finally made it to the mini-storage to check level of the unit after sitting for a month or so since the last reported instance of drifting. As a reminder, when we went to the rig, the rear of the rig compared to the front had went off level to almost 7 degrees according to the control panel. Had no evidence of a leak but could not figure out then the cause. Return trip yesterday showed the unit pretty much as it should have been (off 0.1 percent side to side and 0.1 percent front to back). So whatever caused the initial extension of the front legs and retraction of the rear did no occur again. Closer investigation of the rear pads showed them to be "down" in the gravel approximately an inch or two. Whether this amount to 7 degrees, I don't know, but will do the math to check at some point. But at least I know that we do not have a leak. Odd sequence of events, but evidently the system is fine.

We agree! Each time we feel our trailer settling it's not the jacks moving. It's the pads sinking into the ground.

Our 3402 is on a pad for 6 months at a time when in Florida and it has never lost level. We do hear that popping sound from time to time but the level is not lost.

My Big Sky has been setting in a steel storage shed on a cement floor since the end of October and the level of the trailer has not changed a bit. When we had morning temps in the high 20's and afternoon temp in the mid 60's I also could hear a poping noise some time but the 6 point leveling never changed.

Prior to adding anti-stiction fluid to the system, which stopped the popping, we found that the popping was most noticeable when set up on concrete, and practically nonexistent when on gravel or dirt. I think the softer gravel and dirt muffled the popping and the concrete just amplified the noise.
