Double Trailering

Ok need some advice, I know some of you on the site "double trailer" boats etc. I have plenty of truck so here is my dilemma, I have a 1000 lb gas golf cart and I was thinking about a swivel trailer. They are popular in the south, The cost is pretty expensive around $4000.00 with shipping. I live in a rural setting and back our coach into our driveway from the roadway when we return home. So a regular small utility trailer would have to be unhooked before backing up and the road is sometimes a busy place. Does anyone know of a less expensive swivel trailer.

I did the same research and bought the "smart trailer". We have no regrets, money well spent.

Even when you find the swivel trailer (their advantage is staying connected when backing up), just make sure the hitch is "beefed up" to support the weight of the swivel trailer and its cargo.

Too bad you already have the golf cart or you could have used this. It is so lightweight it could be carried by a front mounted hitch on your TV assuming you had the weight rating to spare: http://www.rvrover.net/

These little babies are pricey, but lightweight and extremely portable.

Yup, the bad news about small and portable is that it's small and stealable too.
