3750FL or 3900FB

We are looking at going from a Cyclone toy hauler to the Montana 3750FL or 3900FB. Would like input from current owners on their likes and dislikes (if any) on these models. Thanks in advance.

We have a 3900FB. We love the master bath and the space it provides. We can both get ready at the same time without being in each other's way. We also love the second bath. We have grown children and grand children who visit often. It is also very nice to go from outside to the bathroom with one step. Both are great units and come down to personal preference but we could not see ourselves in any other unit.

Like our 3750. The two doors allow us to bring in wet dogs without going into living space. The front room makes into a pvt room when not used as living room. You can access kitchen and bath without opening slides! Two years and love the unit!

We love the large living area and especially the theatre seating in our 3900fb. We like the half bath easy access. You can get to bath, fridge and bed with slides in. The master bath is very nice with plenty of room for 2. The large front closet is excellent with easy access and almost walk in. DW likes the walk around island and counter space on each side of stove. There is enough room on both sides of the king bed to make it easily. We are well pleased.

We recently had a 3750 and it suited our needs very well for three years. Our only dislike evolved simply because we travel with our two daughters who have a tendency to tie up the bathroom for extended periods of time. This became a problem with accessing the bedroom, so we traded for a 3850 which remedied the situation because it isolates the bathroom from the bedroom with a hallway. We enjoyed the open-ness of the floorplan that seemed to make a single room out of the living room, dining room and kitchen.

Another vote for the 3900FB. We are well pleased with the layout. As
others have said the large front bath is great when getting dressed
and with the two sinks for each of us to have our own sink and medicine cabinets is wonderful. We also like the walk around island sink in the kitchen and the small bathroom is easy to get to from the
outside. We fell in love with this floor plan the minute we saw it. It
was just what we had been looking for a long time (Two Bathrooms).

We purchased a 2013 3402 Big Sky just before the 3900 came out. We would have purchased the 3900 IF it had been available.

Hello fellow JIM and Washingtonian! Myself I prefer the big back window in the living area of as we are always backed up to a lake ,ocean etc and just love the view all the time ,I like visiting people with a FL I think they are cool but just do not want to look out to the parking area or people driving by, just my 2 bits

I like the 3900FB over the 3750FL. We had a 3750FL and with that unit, we had living room heat issues, dining table people can't see the television, and the while the large back window was nice, we found that we had it closed all the time for sleep/dressing. We traded our 3750FL and purchased the 3725RL. It is a better fit for us.

Capt. Joe, thanks for the reply, what was your living room heat issue?

Jim,
Here is one thread on the living room cooling issue with the 3750FL. We just got tired of messing with fans, vents, etc. and chose a different floor plan. The new quiet AC is outstanding. Check it out. Good luck.

For our needs the 3900FB hit the mark. With the 1/2 bath our daughter and friend(s) have the entire lower section of the trailer at night never having to enter our space. In the morning we switch and I allow my wife and daughter to use the huge master bath to get ready together while I watch the 50" Sony down stairs. The half bath allows me to drink all the coffee in the morning I want . We are one happy family in the 3900FB. By the way im 6'4" and the only time i have to duck is going under the threshold between the master bath and the bedroom. Otherwise I have plenty of head room throughout. Good luck with your decision.

We have the 3900. Love the large master bath, plenty of room for both of us and room for all my toiletries. We also like having the second half bath; we are full timers and there are times when both have simultaneous needs. It makes for more comfortable and relaxed living. The living area is cozy and I like the walk around island, it lets both of us use the kitchen at the same time. The FL is beautiful, but the second bathroom was the deciding factor for us. Good luck with whichever you choose!

We like checking out the models we are interested in and making our own decision. If I was to offer advice it would be to see the units in person before buying as it is often hard to picture how they look from a floor plan and a handful of pictures. If it is a Montana your are looking at then it is unlikely you will make a bad decision, but more of a question of what will work best for you.
