Some other brand. At least that is what I think it stands for while on most RV forums.

Not as bad as it first sounds on a family web site.

It's used to identify us who had a Montana and joined this forum, but have since purchased Some Other Brand (SOB) and wish to remain members of this great site, one of the Best RV forums you can find on the web!!

We like to keep our great members even when they wander off so as long as they refer to their current brand as an SOB and don't try to sell against Montana products we value their experience and ideas and want them to be comfortable staying.

When you tend to post on SOF it is good to say SOB when speaking of your own Monty. Some over there get irritated with a Monty owner hanging out and contributing. This is the place to be but some generic questions can be seen by a few more on the non specific brand forums.

I drop in at Heartland, Forest River, IRV2, Keystone, and a few other forums as well as here. My signature states my TV and 5er on all and has never been a problem. I tease the FR forum that I stop often as they are most active, probably as they have more to complain about. Lots of good info there too. No one cares what you own and are helpful to all that have a problem or question.
