Soooooooooo glad everyone is safe and really glad their house was not completely destroyed. We're here in Michigan also and there was nothing on the news about the storm. Thanks for the link.

They were very fortunate, Glad they are OK.. We have a deep respect for tornado's as we we are up here at the end of Tornado ally and have had our share of close calls not to mention being in the midst of the Mother of all Tornado's, the F-5 that destroyed Moore, OK.Tornado's are so unpredictable and savage.

You are so right, Rich. We, too, have been around way too many tornadoes and I have a great respect for them. We were close enough to one in College Station, TX that we heard the sound of the locomotive. It's exactly as people describe it.

Thanks to all for their find words. This is a great group.

If you listen to the video clips, when they mention Saddleback Ridge Apts. and Taylor Crossing, which is about half destroyed, that is the neighborhood where our daughter lives. She is right next to the apartments. She went to a friend's home tonight and has gotten a lot of support. People are so kind.

So glad to here that everyone is OK, Judy. That is so scary, we had a tornado hit our house back in 1974 on fathers day, it is a real mess to clean up and weeks of repairs on your house. Thank God for all of your safety.

Hi ! Made it throught the storms okay. Wow, it's nice to know y'all were thinking about us! Thanks! The sky was black at 3:30 yesterday here at our store in Newnan. That was creepy, never know what's going to happen when it looks like that in the middle of the day! But all was okay where we're at. We don't have a computer at the house (Yet) so I can only get on line when we're at the store. Which seems to be most of the time! Anyway, we're okay and thanks for your concern! Lisa & Dan

So glad to hear that you are okay. These storms can be soooo devastating.

Now our concern is for Bill and Helen (Adelmoll) as they are in Myrtle Beach which is in the path of the storm today. They were aware of the storms and had already checked out shelters yesterday. Praying for their safety.

Here I am. Judy, it was so sweet of you to e-mail us with the warnings. We had just left Myrtle Beach and were in Charleston when we got the warnings. We slept with our clothes on and were right next to a shelter. I am so thankful that all we got was heavy thunderstorms. The area that got hit last night was just a few miles from where we spent last Sunday. Somebody has looking over our shoulder that's for sure. While we were in Charleston, for the first time in ages, my Verizon didn't work at all. Now we are at Tybee Island (Savannah) and it works just great. Thanks to you all for thinking of us.

Helen

Ditto, Carol. I am relieved that you guys are safe, Helen. I know you're usually online everyday so my concern was deepening. It's great to hear that all is well. By the way, don't tell Vicki that you're at her favorite spot!
