FW tank drain

Been on full hookups for a while now but need to fill the fresh tank in preparation for going dry. Less than intelligently I forgot to drain the tank so the fresh water is a bit musty. Is there a FW tank drain? I'd rather not run that water through the water system if I can avoid it. Once I have it drained I'll sanitize etc just want to get the old stuff out.

Look under the rig and you should see it hanging down with either a cap or valve on it. On some of the rigs, some intelligent design engineer strategically placed it at the center of the rig!

About 2 feet from the rear on the od side there should be a short plastic hose sticking down with a plastic cap. It is close to the center of the rig so it is a bit of a reach to get at it.

If you don't like the cap, most RV supply stores carry a valve that twists on in it's place. Now I just reach under and turn the valve and then when it's done turn it back. For the couple of bucks it cost, it's worth it for me.

No cap on mine just just reach under and turn the valve. Sure takes a while through that little straw to drain. My SOB has a knife valve which dumps the tank in no time.
