Waiting for my 2005 328RLS.

We just bought a 2005 Ford F250SD with the 6.0 Powerstroke. We have a motorhome and have made the decision to go to a 5th wheel to have a way around when we do travel.
We live in East Texas near Sulphur Springs. We have lived here 6 years and life has been good.
My trailer is due 2nd week of November. Our first trip will be to Lake Greesen in Arkansas over Thanksgiving weekend Trout fishing.
That will be the shakedown trip for going to California in 2005. As soon as the kids let us know when the grandkids are out of school.
I am looking forward to being a part of MOC, it seems like a good place for information and discussion. I am somewhat new to RVing. So I need all the tips I can get.

Thanks, Rick

Welcome to the 5th Wheel world and the MOC. We also went last year from a Motor Home to the 5th wheel, and I think it was one of my better decisions. Better breaking, better mileage, and eliminated one engine. I like my Duramax, and 3280RL no major problums in about 12,000 miles towing. Ron

Hey, hey, good truck, good 5er floor plan. Sounds like you are on your way. We are doing our second shakedown cruise at thanksgiving also. We will be at Quintana State Park on the Gulf Coast. We will be fishing in the surf or surfing with the fish or whatever we do with 8 grandkids. Happy RVing with your new Montana.

Congratulations, Rick & Wanda, and welcome aboard! That's an awesome towing machine you bought, I think you're going to be very pleased with it. Which Montana did you get? They're all great but am just curious. Hopefully by now you've had opportunity to peruse MOC and see you made a great choice there, too. Montana is the number one seller in North America for three years in a row and I hear it's looking good for a fourth, as well. There's a reason for that, as you hopefully will find out.

Keep us informed as your adventures progress.
