Toilet's too short

I have the rig in my signature. As I get older and have my second total knee replacement I'm finding it to hard to get up from my stock toilet. Is there a taller toilet that I can replace my stock toilet with?

Mel B., Our 2006 probably had the same stock toilet as yours. Due to the problems with the stock toilet we switched to a Dometic 310. Love the additional height. Simple change out on our rig. Floor flange was fine and the water supply line reached. Less than a 30 minute job.

Bad knees here went to the Dometic 310 for many reasons.

Well I just went to Amazon and read all about the 310 sounded great! I ordered it, and up popped a red letter warning. It can't be shipped to Ca. Some sort of unhealthy material?? I hate Ca.

PPL has them on sale and ships to CA for $9.99. I am guessing your refusal is an Amazon supplier issue.

Most RV dealers stock these toilets or even CW has them or will ship them.

Another vote for the 310 here. Good knees but I'm 6'2". And I really like the elongated bowl. The OEM commode was junk. The 310 seems to be much better design and quality. Listened to the advice on here about it and glad I did.

I just ordered and received 310 low profile from CW. Arrived damaged..looks like it was dropped because no damage on box. Waiting for a replacement that they promised would be here next week. No problem with them shipping you Calif.

They had the bone color on sale for $147 plus 20% off for Fathers Day, paid $135.93 including sales tax. Great deal and we didn't care about the color.

The 320 is the elongated version of the 310. I can REALLY see that one as a Father's Day Special

The taller Dometic 20 is a great solution.

We have a 2005 2955RL. Replaced with the Dometic. One of the best comfort upgrades I did. I did have to rework the supply line a bit to match up to the new toilet. If you need parts for the water line, go to an RV dealer first stop. BIg Box store stuff doesn't work.

Big box stores Ace, HD or Lowe’s fittings worked fine for me. I put a shark bite 1/4 turn shut off on mine, HD had flexible hose with a fitting that is like a gas cap, when it clicks it is tight enough cannot over tighten it

I am under the impression that the 310 and the 320 are the same except the 320 has a hose to rinse the bowl 320 has been one of the better mods I have done

The 310 has a round bowl and the 320 has an elongated bowl. Sprayers are available for both.

Congratulations. I didn't have the same success. The sprayer addon is something I wish I would have done.

Not accurate. PEX is PEX and PEX fittings are PEX fittings regardless where you buy them.

I agree that Dometic 320 w/sprayer is the best way to go if you have the little extra room needed.

Dometic 320 Tall Model is the best mod I have made to our RV
along with a more comfortable mattress.
