I am glad for the advice on this forum as today after reading about the loose suspension bolts that come that way from the factory I grabbed my torque wrench and crawled under the coach. It was hard to believe that a manufacturer would not torque the axles and suspension to specification, but I was wrong again. They were all loose some many turns loose. My U bolts should have been at 90 ft/lbs, two were close, other barely snug. The shackle bolts were also 1/2 correct and a couple were five turns loose. Who ever assembled the jacks did know what they were doing as they were all perfect. I guess the factory just does not correct things or we never tell them the issues? So if you buy a new one don't forget your torque wrench.

The suspension comes in the factory door fully assembled from the vendor. What you describe has been going on for years.

Leveling worked, fridge cooled to 34-36 but outside temp was 45, kids froze in the bunkhouse every night. Talked to the owner of the dealership for 1.5 hours again and e wasgoing to "look in to things" and contact the manufacturer. We shall see.

In my 2016 375 FL the Furnace needs lots of attention on airflow and sealing air distribution is terrible. It was only down to 33 degrees and drafty.

It was so exciting for me to get my first Montana but it was way more exciting cutting my losses and being done with the money pit. I learned my lesson never again.

It was fun to watch the forum and interact with such great people but In real life there are way better ways to spend your money these rvs are a terrible investment and really dangerous to pull with all the defective parts.

You're kidding me, sfish. You bought your fifth wheel for an investment?? Glad you dropped it from your portfolio.

Our rigs have been worth every penny in terms of family fun, adventure, and overall enjoyment. The only time I have ever felt I was in really dangerous situations is in my younger days when people were shooting at me. For me at least, towing a fifth wheel is a breeze, over 20 years of smooth sailing.

Same here. Full time for 5 years now. Have we had issues, sure, we've towed it over 45,000 miles of roads that are becoming worse and worse. Did I ever own a trouble free stick house? Never. Would I trade my life now for my old lifestyle, never. As for an investment, try and get your money out of your car after you buy it. These or not wealth generators.

Not really an investment for me, but with as many problems and trips to the dealer with down time, I expect more from the factory and dealer. The family is the reason we do it. I have always bought homes in need of great repair. With an RV I wanted to hook and go which was the case most of the l times in the past, this time not so much.

Understood. Undeserved frustrations.

I'm sorry I upset you but I bought my lake home years ago and have had way more fun and way less problems and didn't have to invest in a Diesel pickup and it's worth 5 times what I paid for it. I didn't buy the Monty for an investment but it's one big money pit period.

We have over 90K miles in two Montana's since 2006.investment not a chance but neither is one of my other hobbies. Never felt in real danger towing the Montana's but came close when the rear axle shifted at 62 MPH on the Indiana TPK. We were lucky on that one.

Money pit yes but extended warranties made my out of pocket expense reasonable. Things like Mor ryde suspension , hitches and other Rv "stuff" add up all it has been a good ride and got us to see most of the USA to date on our terms.

Tell the truth knowing what we know now don't think we would do it again. We spent more than 225K on two trucks and two Montana's alone.Think we could have traveled a long way on that in a Honda SUV and mid priced motels. No regrets tho.

Rich,
You have made a lot of friends with that trailer that you wouldn't have made in the hotel.

I finally got my Warranty issues fixed except for the poor rear roof design building ponds in the corners. Keystone Owner Relations Rep did tell me it should not be like that as it will cause issues in the future but also said they will not fix it as it was designed that way. Dometic told me how to fix the bad AC installation and both AC's work great.

On my first road trip since I bought it on 2 June I thought everything was working well until I got it home to find the grille from the Water heater was missing and I had a new feature of a lake in the basement due to plumbing leaks. Oh well it is used to being in the shop so I will take it to its Keystone home to have multiple plumbing issues behind the convenience center fixed. Since it has been there more than at my use I do wish Keystone would make every other payment until it is reliable.
