Thumbs down Losing fresh water.

our 2017 Montana HC 352rl, is having some weird water tank issues. It is losing water out the overflow port only on right turns. This seemed to start when I decided to start carry more water than a 1/3 of a tank. Increased the tank level to almost full to try and take some weight off of the hitch pin. water level went from full to 1/3 on the road from Colorado springs to Santa Fe this summer.
Any and all suggestions would be of help

ok, thanks for the reply. A out side source did tell me that the water lose could be caused by the overflow tube being to far into the tank. Will have dealer check it out.

We have had this problem ever since we purchased our 2015 Mountaineer. On our last outing, I just shoved a rag in the vent and for the first time when we arrived at our spot our tank was still full. I pulled the rag out when we arrived so it could vent normally. You may try something like this. Not very sophisticated but cheap.

My 3455sa looses some water this way but not enough to worry about. I would not think it is possible to loose 2/3 of a tank of water this way unless somehow a siphon gets started during travel.

All of the fresh water tanks in all the campers I have owned the vent tube attaches to a fitting on the tank. Meaning it is not possible to have the tube extending in to far.

Just thinking, maybe the vent is not high enough or too close to the tank
