Well my first boo boo happened,no one at the dealer showed or explained the electronic brake cable ( explained dead battery, twice) so I went to move it in our gravel driveway, and found out that my Silverado 3500 can move a 40 ' Montana with the brakes locked. Pulled it about a foot before I realized what was happening.

At least it was gravel. I got all set up at a campground. front legs down, weight off truck. Had the DW jump in the truck to pull forward and disconnect. Next thing I know she is dragging the trailer with her. I forgot to pull the release on the hitch. We all make mistakes I dont forget to pull that handle anymore....

Welcome. Connie and I got our 2015 3711FL earlier this year. Took it out for a shakedown and to pack some final (sure :-) ) things last weekend. Looking forward to a longer trip in a couple of weeks. Love the floorplan.

BTW, your experience with your dealer is not unique. Learning about the features of ours as we go (like learning out how to get radio sound from the soundbar last weekend - felt really dumb when I finally figured it out).

Welcome to the Forum and the best site to find out about your Montana on the www. If you have questions, ask away! If you can answer someone's question jump on in there and give us your answer. Try to attend some of the Regional Rallies and also the MOC Fall Rally in Goshen, IN. That's where you will meet your fellow MOC members and also learn and see how your Monte is built at the tour of the factory during the Fall Rally. Again, welcome aboard and hope to meet you down the road sometime.
