Our Tana is here!

I just got off the phone not 20 minutes ago from the dealer and he said our Tana is here! Wasn't expecting it for another two weeks. Now the dreaded inspection of the "Black Fridge". I'll let you know what I think later!

I'm so excited for you! I know that a few things are different than you expected, but I have a feeling that somehow you'll deal with it. After all, it is still a Montana! Congrats!!

Congratulations, and don't let the black door spoil your excitement. Trying to figure out how that entertainment system will make you forget about that door.

Well...couldn't resist going to see the new addition to the family. They were busy getting it cleaned up when I got there. So, here are my immediate thoughts on the changes Keystone has made.
First-the fridge. Well, I have to eat some humble pie here folks. Actually, I liked it. Looks good with the wood and matches the applicances and it will be fine. I got spoiled with the wood fronts on my past two units. Yes, it will show the finger prints, just like the microwave and the oven. Seriously though, it does look fine. So, for those of you waiting on a unit or thinking about it, give it another thought. You know I was so against it, but after having seen it, all is good. Second...the new wood color. Looks great. I like it better than the other, and with that being said, because they changed the carpet color and kitchen vinyl, it makes it all the better. The carpet is awesome. Much, much better choice. It will definitely hide the dirt better and actually brings out the colors better in the furniture and walls. The counter top in the kitchen is fine...it is lighter, but not by a bunch. The darker hardware looks super and goes well with the cabinets. Jury is still out on the counter tops in the bathroom and beside the bed. It is different...not that I disliked it actually. Saw it and had no instant opinion at all. Guess because I know if I really hate it, Craig can change it out. But, again, it seems to go with the carpet colors well.
So, after my rantings about the fridge, all is well.

Glad that you were so pleased with the new Monty. When we saw the new models in Goshen, we liked the wood finish, carpeting, refrig, etc. If we were in the market for a new unit, none of those things would put us off. Hope you have many happy adventures ahead - once you get that new unit home and ready to go!

Cheryl & Craig, I'm soooo glad that you are okay with your new Montana!! I was worried you would not be a happy camper! Where are you going on your maiden voyage?

Lisa-Well, it looks like there are going to be about 3 of us getting together the weekend of November 10th and head out to one of our state parks called Cuivre River. A super nice park and actually, not far from the dealer where we are picking up the trailer. We plan on doing our PDI on the 9th-that is the soonest WE can get there due to Craig's schedule...and take it to the campground that afternoon. Should be fun! Then, I think we will be going to Columbia for a tractor pull the following weekend and after that, probably will sit for the rest of the winter. How sad is that? It's not that we don't like camping in the winter, it becomes more of a hassle to de-winterize, winterize, de-winterize...you see where I'm headed, right? Although, the holidays usually go by quickly and before we know it, it will be March and we usually make a couple trips then and then we feel like we're back at it!

I guess you're proof of your favorite quote in your bio. Overcome and Adapt. Hopefully, Dano and I can meet up with you guys sometime. Hope all goes well on your PDI. Do you have a special place for it on your land set up?

Blue, which washer and dryer did you and your wife decide on, if I might ask?
