Looking for info on having IS and Disk Brakes Installed at the Rally
Hi,
I'm a newby and will be coming to the Fall Rally for the 1st time. I understand companies come to the rally and set up shops, including the ability to install Independent Suspensions and Disc Brakes? If so, I'd like to sign up with the vendors. Does anyone have info on this?

IS install can be done directly with Morryde. However this late I don't know how successful you will be in getting an appointment. You may have luck after the rally getting an appointment. Disc brake installs can be done by many vendors however if you are going for IS they can install the brakes at the same time. One stop shopping. I would call Morryde first thing tomorrow morning.

Contact Morryde to see if you can get an appointment probably before or after the rally if your schedule permits. There is no standard IS. IS are custom made depending on your unit. This is done at the plant. You will have to allow about a day and a half to have this done.

AFAIK vendors do not come to you at the Fall Rally. You have to go to them with an appointment highly recommended.
F.Y.I. the duplicate post in the 2018 Fall Rally category has been merged with this one. The Community Rules strongly discourage duplicate posts. Plus the 2018 Fall Rally category is basically closed as it has long past. Additional posts relating to the duplicate topics were also deleted to clean up the thread.

I made an appointment with Gary at MorRyde at the rally last year. The soonest he got me in was November 14 2018 & it was snowing. It was definitely worth the wait though. You’ll notice a big difference in the handling of your 5th wheel & the braking is a huge difference.

My husband and I have been talking about this. What is a ballpark for pricing of IS and disc brakes? The fact that the ride is smoother and everything stays in place is priceless, but hopefully within our budget. Thanks.

I have our rig to be done right after the rally and with 7k axles and the disc brake set up around $6500.00

Yes - I was quoted about $6,700 if I have 7,000 lb axles and about $6,900 if I have 8,000 lb axles

If you can attend the rally, the MORryde folks usually offer a "Rally Discount".
We took advantage of this from last year's rally.
Also, we scheduled our install in Feb. and got an additional "off season" discount!
Got lucky with the weather... we got in in between the snow storms... still cold tho.
