Hitch for 2013 Ram 3500
Looking for some help to see if there is any hitches out there for my new 2013 Ram 3500 DRW . We are getting ready to go full time, sold the house (close on 15 Jul), silly me, I go and buy a new truck and come to find out Reese and Curt and others do not have rails for the truck yet. Have any other members experienced this. Any help would be appreciated.

I had Reese failed installed in my signature truck. Just had to buy the special brackets that tied it to the frame. Keep looking, it is out there.

Check with Pullrite...a friend has the 20.5K on his new Ram that he bought three weeks ago. Rails and brackets are out there.

Is there any difference in the 2013 truck vs the 2011's, and 2012's"?

From what I could find out, they completely changed the chassis and the hitch manufactures were left in the dark and are scrambling to come up with fixes.

He has a 2013 Ram 3500 DRW Longhorn Crewcab 4x4 diesel (new designed truck, not a carry over 12 that is being called a 13) with the Pullrite hitch.

Bill, did you get the fifth wheel prep? If not, any hitch will work. They just use the universal mourning kit. If you got the fifth wheel prep with the four big holes in the bed, the hitches weren't available yet. The 2013 Ram 3500 has a completely new frame. They have a fifth wheel prep package that has four quick release mounting pucks mounted to the frame and under the bed. The last I heard, no one had a mounting solution utilizing the pads. I ended up using my old Reese hitch and rails mounted to the frame. So, I have the four huge puck holes and additional holes to mount the Reese hitch. And, Ram failed to include the puck covers, so if I put a tonneau cover on my truck, it won't be weather tight because of the four big holes in the bed.

It does not have the prep pkg. When the hitch dealer went to get the rails etc Reese, Curt, told him that at the last minute Ram changed the chassis and that they would have hardware available in mid Aug. B & W has the hardware and I will be able to to get a Companion B & W 18K hitch installed next week. It is cutting it close as we need to be out of the house by the 15th, hopefully everything goes well because I don't have a way to move the camper out of the driveway.

Too far for us (I checked your info), but if necessary I'll bet we have members in Florida who could move your Monty if need be.
