6 hours ago, I was told "we will be there shortly". just tell the truth ! Where did the word loose its meaning ? just venting ! Where's Ozz when you need him ? I bet he communicates clearly with his customers.

I can tell you that the guys working around here try to make their appointments, but right now everyone in the shop is not only working, but they have a waiting list. If someone calls in the office lady will tell you he's on another call and will be there in an hour or so, but then when he tries to restart the unit, after replacing the bad part, he finds that part ruined something else, has to return to the shop for more parts etc. They shouldn't have made promises and then not update you, but on a holiday weekend they are probably not fully staffed and folks like the dispatcher may even be trying to work from home.
