Someone stole all 4 of my hub caps..

Yep, somewhere between Central Texas and Dallas someone stole all 4 of my hubcap off the Montana. They had to be professionals cause I didn't stop between the two and I never seen them. Imagine being able to steal your hubcaps at 60 mph. Don't know how they did it but they were there when we left but all 4 were gonna at our 1st fuel stop. lol lol... Really I should have listened to my brain when I put them back on the day before. Brain said to me "hey dumby,(That's usually how the Brain talks to me) I don't think this is right and doubt they will be there 100 mile up the road" But the Dumby was in a hurry and figured they haven't come off yet and don't know what else to do so the dumby left them on the way they were. Not sure where I went wrong since it seems they just pop on, maybe I didn't pop them on hard enough... But the way I look at it I can now see my lug nuts, which I was gonna check when I discovered the hubcaps were gone and figure maybe it will keep the bearings a little cooler in this heat. Might be a good excuse to buy chrome rims, she already said nice try

I grew up on the south side of Chicago. It could happen there and you'd be lucky you didn't have to stop. Folks used to say if you got a flat going by "The Region" see how far you can drive it on the rims.

It's a Dodge Ram thing!!!!! I have replaced the rear caps, my third and final time. I did find them on line for $40.00 each, beats $108.00, Dodge wants for one. I tried the chrome wheels and got the same response! Think I'll just get some silver paint, call it done.;>)LOL

Yeah it was the hub caps on the Montana, if it had been the truck I would been a lil more upset lol lol...
Found new ones on line for around $20 ea. Just wish I knew what I did wrong and why they did not snap on like they should have. Live and learn.....oh and pay the bill...lol lol

We have the steel wheels on our Montana and we put the trim rings on them to dress it up a little. After we had the Mor-Ryde IS suspension put on, we lost three of the four rings and the fourth was ready to pop off. The IS suspension does not allow any side movement so the rims must flex more than normal. Only thing I can think of.

Sorry about your loss

First time I took our new truck out in February, we got motioned over by another vehicle. He said one of the hub covers had just come off. Sure enough, both rear covers were gone and only had about 50 miles on the brand new truck. Dealer was real good, agreed they must not have been put on properly, and replaced them. I know they weren't cheap, and I really appreciated the good customer service. See, it isn't just our trailer, we have bad luck with everything
