I looked at the Bodiak type before settling on the Hidden Hitch. I had two primary concerns, one of which was the loss of the front tow hooks and the other was that the receiver height would be about six inches higher that the hidden hitch receiver which mounts beneath the front bumper......
Bingo
We are really happy with our Bodiak set up. You don't loose the front tow hooks, the Bodiak just clamps over them. When off the road for more than a month I like to remove the front hitch and I can do that in less than 5 minutes. While on the road I don't have visibility issues with my set up.

I like the look of this Bodiak - what type bike carrier do you put on it?

Thank you,

We also have the hidden hitch on the front of our Dodge. The only thing to watch for are dips and parking bumpers which may cause a slight problem for you. If you have a 4x4 than you will be high enough to avoid the problems. Ours is 2WD which is lower and causes some clearance problem. Because we don't haul our bikes as much I will probably remove the hitch.

Thank you,
We purchased a Reese 2-bike rack from Walmart. I think it was around $75.00 or so.
