water heater changed...

Well, couldn't put it off any longer. So today it was out with the old and in with the new. Of course, the new one didn't have the relay in the ac inlet box...but it was easy to pull it out of the old water heater and move it over. And had to add new check valve on the back of the new one as well as new brass coupler on the other port. I did save the controller electronics off the old one as well as the high voltage spark line if anyone needs them...free...just let me know. John

What kind of unit did you install?

Put in the suburban 12 gal...same as what I removed...but the new one was heavier than old one. Only guess is that actual tank is thicker now. John
