Security while traveling & parking...

HA! Not a gun thread.. Not that there is anything wrong with that..
The Blind spot in our.. or any 5th wheel is the front, where our tow vehicle often stays while parked. I thought it would be great to be able to see it up there, lonely in the wind and vulnerable to tampering and theft.
I mounted a small adjustable Dome Sony Camera with IR lights, adjustable in it's swivel base, compact and durable.
The lighting was not enough for my taste, so I added a small IR spotlight. The system does the job, day and night.
I fished the video feed above the ceiling from the front cap and added an outlet with robbed power from the vacuum power supply, easily snaked down the column in the kitchen.
The monitor is right above the regular TV, so you just glance above to check it. I also tapped the cable feed in the bedroom, so it can be on that TV as well.

That's pretty cool ozz. One of the reasons I drilled my fuel cover on my truck to install a lock was that I was concerned about someone being able to easily add anything to my diesel. At least now they would need a properly coded vending machine key or a pry bar to do the deed. You certainly are having more fun than I am as you modify your montana. Long live the spirit. John

Great visual! Just be sure to keep that pea shooter handy (as I know you do).

Yup, and if you add a speaker out there you can ask the bad guy to "move a little to your left so I've got a better shot"
