3750FL Mattress

Our 3750 has a 70x76x7 radius corner mattress. After searching for a replacement, this is a custom size. While we could go a little wider in width, the length is the problem as when the sides retract, the mattress pushes the closet drawers in.

It seems odd to me that this is a custom size and if so, where does Keystone get them.

Has anyone else located a good source.

We replaced ours with a RV Sleep Number Queen from Camping World. Had to roll quilt up, but no problems

So, K0LCB, are you saying the extra 4" of the Sleep Number just smash up when the slides are retracted? Since a Sleep Number is 80. " long.

Camping World also has a short Queen Sleep Number that is 75" long. What I would suggest is closing the slides while you are in the bed room and see if there is another 4 inches of compression available on the drawers (press them farther in and see). We had the 3750 and now have the 3850 and have the Sleep Number King Premier. It works fine.

When I closed the slide on my 2013 3750 it did cause the mattress to buckle a little bit. The only problem we had if we forgot to fold quilt back it would get drug off the bed when we opened the slide.i think our mattress is 80 inches long

I have a 2012 3750 and the original factory mattress was a 72 x 80 w/12" radius corners. I replaced the mattress a few months ago. I wanted a little extra width also. I got a custom size 75 X 80 X 8 non radius corners. Its a custom Cool Max Luxury Memory foam mattress from MattressInsider.com. It fits great with no issues. It is 3" wider (1 1/2 on each side) than the old mattress. It is a little harder to make the bed and getting in and out because there is less room around the sides of the mattress. It's not a problem for us and I like having the extra room when sleeping.

The closet draw assembly is on springs and is designed to be pushed in by the mattress when you close the slides. Mine does the same thing. I did not know this until the first time when I opened the slides and notices one side of the draws did not extend all the way. They were cocked to one side. I just pushed on the opposite side to straighten them out and they slid right out. It does this once in a while. You can push in on your draws and watch them move in.

Before I close the bedroom slides I flip the lower part of the comforter about 1/4 of the way on top of the mattress so it does not get pinched between the draws when I open the slides.

Gentlemen, I have recently discovered that on our 3850, the dresser actually slide back under the closet approx. a foot. Upon inspection,I discovered that there are actually actuator on each side of the drawer units !!! SO......it appears that the drawer unit is made to slide in and allow the bed/ mattress slide to come in without buckling the mattress.
Have any of you with 3850's discovered the actuators on the sides of the drawer unit????

DmaxDually, yes, the drawers often get wedged at an angle when you extend the slides. I used bar soap on the side wood guides (you can see where they rube) to lubricate the drawer frame. That helped but they still stick sometimes.

Mike, 3750 and 3850 both have that feature.

Shiggs68, Thanks for the tip. Looks like we almost have the same setup. I have a 2012 3500hd but a 2012 3750fl.
