I am in the middle of a long run from Copperas Cove, TX to Yellowstone. Currently at Gardiner, MT. Been averaging 9.5 MPG on my 2012 F250 through over 1500 miles. I installed an RDS in bed 40 gal combination tool box/fuel tank. Works like a dream. Feeds fuel directly into the OEM tank. I have a Bak Flip 1 topper which I fold back when towing, so I had to modify the fuel tank/tool box by removing the top and cutting the box lip off in order for my topper to close. Added a rubber seal around the modified tool box lip to keep out the elements when the topper is folded when towing, works perfect.

Best milage I have seen is 12.5 coming down I-25 from Pueblo and worst was 8.6 coming out of Clayton, NM in the rise of elevation plus a 30 mph cross wind.
