Depending on their sales ... Eastern Marine, and Trailer Parts Depot are good alternatives. I'd suggest staying with metal brake lines with flex lines at each caliper. Some kits push rubber flex lines for the entire route. Some go with the Titan pump ... I went with Hydrastar ... it works flawlessly. Don't worry about the battery kits some push at you. Your fiver already has its own 12 VDC battery onboard to tap from. The battery kits are more for horse trailers and such that have no battery to start with.

If you're bending and flaring your own lines ... The Stop Shop has good quality stuff as well.

I got my Hydrostar actuator from Eastern Marine because of better price. Everything else from trailer.com. VERY HAPPY with my disc upgrade. Self installed for $1550. I debated flex vx metal lines and decided on Kodiak flex and am happy with them. Very easy install.

I have 2 friends that each paid Mor/ryde $3500 last year to do theirs. Not me! If you know which end of a wrench to hold it is pretty easy especially if you have the level-up system.

I've heard lots of good things about this guy:

And he always says he is just a phone call away if you need help.

A bit over $1350 for me, but the fiver I put it on had 6 bolt wheels. I just can't see paying some outfit $800 - $1000+ labor then full list price for parts for something that is a really straight forward install. Yeah I know ... not everyone is a wrench spinner ... I feel for you as I'm well aware of what outfits charge for labor now days.

Sounds right on the price. Mine are 7,000 lb 8 lugs and I also purchased all USA made Timkens that are included in the price. Looks like MorRyde is charging 400 to 500 hour for their labor.

I realize that companies need to make a profit but my pocketbook does have a bottom. I don't have the level up system but I do have a large garage and plenty of hud. jacks and blocking. When I get (home)now the daughter house, from the Montana Rovers Rally I will disassemble everything and order parts. Any suggestions where to order from. I got a reponse from e-trailers but maybe there are others. Thanks everyone.

Where to get disk brake parts? Re-read replies 3 and 4. I guess you could just order a "complete kit", but there are better prices to be had buying individual components from different suppliers.

You might want to read reply #5 also.

Actually I enjoyed doing my own and I'm sure I will also enjoy spending the $2000 I saved on something else.

2 - 4 - 5 - 8 ... I get so confused quoting numbers ... Ha! Sorry about not including 5 ... my retention span is obviously very short as well.
