It's the simple things. Magnetic Door Stop

One thing I noticed that my partner's '18 3790RD had that my wife really liked was the door magnet on the bedroom door. So, I found one at Home Depot for about $7. The screw in base comes out of it so the base can be mounted with no exposed screws. Found the place I wanted it and screwed the base to the floor and then threaded on the magnet. With limited work space, it was apparent it would be difficult to line it up, so a I went for a piece of tape and a Sharpie. I put the door piece on the magnet as it should go, put the tape on the door and then colored the back of the door section heavily with the Sharpie and then pushed the door onto it. As you can see in the pics, it left the imprint I needed. Drilled the pilot holes and attached the metal piece and tested the fit. Great! We now have a magnetic door stop for the bedroom!

Yes, those door stops are a nice addition where needed.

Yes, I always looked for ideas to steal from the new models. It was that looking that caused us to trade for a new model so be careful The new one came with the magnetic catch which I promptly had to change since Keystone installed the base on the part of the wall that didn't move instead of the part that did so the door would pop loose everytime you closed the slide.

Thanks for the idea, easier than having to put something down as a door stop when not level

How well I know that! I went to the dealer once for a water filter cartridge and came home with a new camper. The only problem was that ours was only 11 months old

You're not supposed to keep them water filters for 11 months, lol. Had you changed it at 6 months, you might still have that other camper,lol.... OH sorry the CAMPER was 11 months old not the filter, lol.

Just installed a brushed stainless version on our 5er ($5.98) at Home Depot in either the brushed SS or oiled bronze - no brass color. My wife is happy

I used 2 sided tape (3M 'snot'), lined up the inner moving door piece, held the screw base on it then opened the door to the floor piece then screwed it in place after marking and removing the tape. Took longer to find the screw gun then the installation

A quick note - the supplied screws are dead soft and the Phillips head will get ripped out easily if you 'bounce' the driver bit out while driving them in

I thought about the double faced tape about the time I was done
