Roof vent work
The roof vents on my 2007 have taken a UV light beating, the tops were so brittle a touch breaks them. I replaced the front one fully, it was in bad shape all the way around. You can just spin the top off and replace that if they aren't bad below the cap.
It was a good thing I replaced the entire assembly, the ceiling vinyl was left in place, which is a vapor barrier, so my vent was useless. Crappy craftsmanship from the factory. I imagine all of them are like that... wake up keystone! They cut the hole, but left the vinyl flap in place.
Whole job took about 45 minutes, start to finish with cleanup.

Vent covers deteriorate too, but their also easy to replace. When I took the MaxAire covers off the bath and bedroom covers, I bumped one and it cracked in half. Both were extremely brittle even though they'd been covered up, probably since the unit was new.

I replaced my vent covers about 1 year ago--uv simply did them in. Brittle and useless. I have to wonder what the RV manufacturers think about using this cheap stuff--someone knows it will not last very long. But they only want you to get them off the dealers lot.

Might just be that 'Lowest bidder' deal?? and we get screwed because of it.
Think of how many folks have broken covers and don't know it, many do not go on the roof for many reasons, a hard rain will break chunks off the bad ones.
WAKE UP KEYSTONE!!!!!!!

Replacement parts are a big money maker. Kind of like soda or coffee at a restaurant.
