Couple of things...

If you haven't checked the battery water in a month or longer, you should check the water level. While you are there, check for any green stuff around the terminals, also check to make sure they are tight. if you find loose or Green, go to the next step..
Second, the invention Mr. Crapper was so proud of, pull the plastic cover; it is Velcro'd on, and take a wrench to the hold-down bolts. If you haven't checked it on older models, I bet it's loose.
Don't wait until you see water around the base of the stool to do it, like someone Mrs. Osbern knows..
Carry on...

Mikey, if your S.G. checks out OK, I would look into connections. But that said, I would think you are OK.

Ozz, when ours stripped out one bolt and the stool tipped and broke the main flange. The hold down lag screws that they installed at the factory were stripped during the build. I removed the stool and the flange bolts, rotated the flange 90 degrees and replaced the those bolts. Then I re-installed the stool using BOLTS and NYLOC NUTS. Now the stool is completely firm. As a very easy MOD replacing those lag bolts with through bolts makes a lot of sense... Dave
