We just returned from Destin, and stayed in a hotel just across from Destin RV Resort. DW and I walked over and checked it out. Very nice gated park. The lots are for sale, but they also rent them out for owners. IIRC, rent is $675 per month, and includes cable, wireless internet and electricity. The beach is just across the street and the resort has access through a gated walkway. Also there is a on site laundry. There were a few class A rigs in the resort, but they accept TT's and fifth wheels with minimum length and 10 year rule. Lots are small, but very well manicured lawns and landscape. I checked several parks in the Destin, Fort Walton, and Navarre area, and the price is not out of line with those with less amenities.

Stayed in Henderson and Topsail state parks in February, both very nice but 14 day max. Did not see Destin RV resort. I'll bet that price is a lot higher in the winter.

Just out of curiosity and a little off-thread, what was the temperature range when you were there in February? We are going to Topsail for Thanksgiving and although I am sure February is probably a little bit different, it will give us an idea. Thanks.
