Here's what we did with the rest of our oak...
http://i2.tinypic.com/xpu6ih.jpg After Glen finished the doors for the storage we opened up under the frig and the oven, we had a nice piece of oak left. Just enough to make this little shelf for holding family pictures. It hangs down from the rear cabinets with small bolts, just over our dining room table.

Great idea - don't think we've seen that one before. Did you make the sides or buy them? Nice work.
Happy trails......................

The sides are just dowels that we purchased and cut to length. They're probably 1/2 inch.
We're ready for show and tell, John.

NO, Kim! We're selfish! Besides that, the hardest part was trying to attach that baby to the underside of the cabinet. That stuff is slippery!

Judy,
I think I have a great idea to help offset your fuel costs this year. With all the great thing that you and Glen have done to your Montana. Glen could become the Montana handyman, installing these in other members Montana's. For a small fee of course...

Montana Sky, can you spell R-E-T-I-R-E-D? Thanks for the compliment though.
