Water Pump Replacement

I just replaced my Shurflo water pump in my 2014 Mountaineer 331rlt. A very easy swap with same Shurflo pump. But, a word of caution. Even with all water and electric off, and faucets open to depressurize, the right side hose has a great deal of water in the hose and you will have a small flood in the basement very quickly. I strongly recommend you get a small plug to plug that hose temporarily until you get the new pump installed. I made a mad dash to get my shop vac set up, and I was shocked at the volume of water pouring out of that hose.

Steve , I know what you mean but the best way of taking care of that small flood is to use the low point drains and take any pressure off the line and water in the lines overall. I learned the hard way as you did and learned my lesson. They did teach this old dog a new trick! LOL
