Hello, My name is Gary
I'm 59 and newly retired. My wife and I purchased a 2010 3075RL last year. Got the rig for a song and knew there just had be something wrong with it. It had sat since mid 2012 and looked great, in fact it looked like it had never been used. The decals are faded and peeling but the rest of the rig is in great shape.
We toyed around with it 4 times last fall, sort of a get to know the trailer kind of trips. We took the 3 house cats and had a great time. 3 trips were national forest areas near where we live and the last trip to a State Park so we could flush the tanks real well before winter.
The cats do well in the forest setting and do not wander far from the rig as we spent a couple of weekends parked in the yard get them used to their new home, a safe place. The state park was another matter. Our older cat wondered off and we had no idea where he had gone. Turns out he visited the neighbors, wandered inside looking for food and then curled up in their trailer for a nap. They were very understanding people.
Anyway, this is not our first rodeo but it has been a long time since we traveled the US in a trailer. In the early 80's we lived in a 31' Holiday Rambler bumper pull for 6 years as I chased seismic crews across the US. Life as a Gypsy was grand and we were young. We're sort of hoping to rekindle that fire.
I found this site in my search for tires. What a wealth of information as all forums I belong to are. I may not contribute much but I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions
