New Montana Owners!

On our return trip from Montana we traded our Cougar in for a 2006 2955RL Keystone Montana in Blackhawk, SD. We only spent one night in it so far but we are extremely happy with it so far. We hope to spend a couple of months in it this winter down south. Can't wait.
We just got started in the RV world about a year ago so we have alot to learn but it is all a big adventure that we are both excited to do.
Thanks for the great web site. I think I'll get many tips here.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new rig. Check out the Rio Grande Valley thread and see where other Montana owners are spending the winter. You might want to join us down there.

Always happy to welcome another Montana owner especially when that Montana happens to be a 2955RL. So Welcome JAGoering to the MOC family.

You have come to the right place for tips. I don't think the folks at Montana have nearly the vast product knowledge you will find within this forum.

Now do you find the Montana a huge improvement over the Cougar?
Reason I ask is because I am shopping right now and I can get a Cougar 295 EFS double slide for 14 K less than a Montana 2955RL.
Is the Montana worth the extra 14K in your opinion? Thanks, wrench.

I would hagel with the Montana dealer some more and see about getting the price lowered. I went from a 32' Sportsmen made by KZ inc. and I have nothing but nice things to say about the montana. I feel it will hold up better over the long haul and we both like the layout of the Montana a lot better.
