Cat Barrier
We have one of the TV's that comes up from behind the fireplace and a desk right next to it. Between pens, papers and even the occasional battery rolling down there where you can't get them out easily, the rats nest of wires and the occasional cat going down there, getting stuck and having to be hauled out by the scruff I finally built a cover for the hole when the TV is up. Cut a piece of high dollar plywood in a U shape to match the hole. Now we just have to stain it to look pretty. When we travel we'll just store it behind the cat cage.
