I have an '06 6.0PSD and during the warranty period there was a fluid leak between the engine and trans that Ford found the rear engine seal was the problem. They took care of it under warranty. I want to say this was at about 60,000 but there's a chance it was going for some time since the dampness looked like it was spread out all over the area and there were some leak spots underneath from where I parked my truck in front of the house. I wasn't in a rush because it was a very slow leak and I suspected the warranty was going to cover it.
Sounds like your problem is not typical of other 6.7s and you don't have very many miles logged. I hope your warranty is still in affect and covered, but don't wait too long. I can't imagine what the cost would have been if I had to cover this repair out of warranty.
