Waxing Decals

Do you wax over your decals or put something different on them? Any suggestions are helpful. A lot of decals to be going around them.

We just wax over everything, except the windows. Joyce gets touchy about that.

Same here, if it doesn't move I wax it and sometimes if it is moving slow I just may wax it also. Once a year with NuFinish the cap maybe 3 times a year depending on the travel schedule.

On your 2013 yeah put nu-finish etc... BUT on the 2014+?and on they put New Graphics that have thousands of perforated holes to let them Breathe (you can see them) and you do NOT want to wax them it will defeat the purpose as I was told by my Dealer when I bought my 2015,Too bad they did not tell ya that Waynemoore when you bought Your 2015 and I am sure ALOT of others with the new Graphics were not told that,my Dealer Tacoma RV has been around for a Long time selling and servicing Monty's since the start they know their Montana's pretty good

Jimmy, After your post I went out and look at mine. All the picture decals has the holes. The mountain scenes and decals near them. Some of the stripes on the sides are not perforated. I heard someone say they use Aerospace 303. Not sure. I store mine indoors and climatic controlled. And I have waxed the front cap including decals before. Hope I didn't mess it up.

I would not say Ya messed up I just would not do it anymore,, the new Graphics are still better than the Old with or without waxing them,it was just nice that Keystone FINALLY fixed the Decal Problem (we Think) my 2015 decals are far nicer than my 2012,I wish all dealers were as knowledgeable as mine were about their product they are selling ( I have bought 3 from Tacoma RV)

Our dealer has always told us not to put wax on the graphics. We have always used NuFinish, directions on the bottle pretty clear re vinyl.

Interesting on do not wax decals. The rig has them all over. I have a 2014 and waxed mine last year. Guess I won't anymore maybe. I store mine inside and I know the bugs slid right off the front. Glad to learn here than from the people who sell these things and I found don't know as much as I do.

Tacoma RV never mentioned anything to us about the decals on either of our coaches purchased from them...wait until I see Ladonna next time. But because of decal issues with our 2007 3400RL, and being here on the MOC for years, I do not wax them any longer.
