That is so true, you can't get all you want and hopefully get all you need when you buy a rig. Still it is an impressive unit and I would be pretty proud to have it behind my rig. by the way that's a nice truck I have the same but mine is black, but I ordered the truck with steel wheels with simulators due to the fact I can rotate the wheels better. The aisin trans with the 4:10 gear is the real deal isn't it?

3791RD is a great floor plan. Looked at one at the Sevierville Tennessee RV Show today. Ordered a 2015 3611rl Legacy with G Rated Goodyears. Had to have the rear fiberglas cap for clearance getting into my steep driveway.

Congratulations on the new 3611 . The 2015 floor plans are sure getting heavy you have the same pin weight as my 3790 witch depending on how you load it could be upwards of 4k lbs . Part of this is because of the new 12" frame witch allows them to grow to over 40' . It also allows for almost 4 k in payload . Did this affect your TV I know I was shocked by the bigger numbers .

I tow with a 2014 F350 Crew Cab 4X2 DRW PSD and have a B&W Hitch. Should be in good shape. Happy to be back in a Montana soon.

We ordered a 3791RD and are scheduled to take delivery on April 10. Now you've got me worried. I am planning to tow with a 2013 GMC Sierra 3500, SRW Crew, Long Bed with Hensley BD3.

We added the dual pane windows and upgraded the suspension to the MOR/Ryde 4100. Other than clothes and shoes...not much will be up front. Chairs and grill in front storage....all the rest in the rear. No washer/Dryer. I am assuming 3200 lb or so hitch weight....comes in at 2870-2900. Assuming trailer will be at 14,000 - 14,500 max.

We must travel light. All of our stuff is in our stick house LR. If it all weighs more than 350-400 lbs I'd be surprised. Dishes, cups, few pans, glass cookware, cleaning stuff, some games.

Having trailer hitch added to rear of coach by Pete's RV.

3500HD SRW is not enough truck with this coach???

Yup. Puts them out of the reach of 2500s. Not everyone can afford a new truck. Keystone should be careful that they don't exclude that part of their potential customer base IMHO.

I tow my 2015 3735MK 13.2K DRY and about #3100 pin wieght with a 2003 Dually Chev Duramax with a Banks Tuner and a 16K valley hitch and I tow ALL over the West Coast and it does a dang good job Without complaint But I WISH I had a little more power and if I could afford a 2013 3500HD Duramax EVEN a SRW I would be one Happy Camper..... You are Golden with that setup IMO

About the only thing you can do is hook up to your new rig and run it across the scales when you are loaded and ready to camp.

I just know when I initially looked at this new model and the numbers that I would be way over with my 2012 F350 SRW. But we are full time and probably carry more than you. I am guessing that you will need DRW's at least.

Chris, Our little, light weight 3150RL has over 3,400lbs of pin weight. The brochure says it has 2,410 lbs of pin weight. We are not fullltimmers, but we do spend about 8 months in it.

The listed shipping weight is 11,475lbs, it comes in close to 14,500lbs ready for going south for the winter.

You did not list you ordered G rated tires.

Congrats on the new trailer and TRUCK???

We looked at the 3790 here in Arizona and liked the raised living area too. However we don't want to lose the Legacy rear cap and go back to the old square bumper, and we don't really need more storage. Also,we just bought a 350SRW and questioned its ability to take the 2870# pin weight and its ability to brake the increased load at DW of 13081. We liked the roof line and wondered why all models couldn't look this way, similar to an Elite Suite.

Spec on 3791RD is 2960 pin wgt...I know it is likely understated.

My Buddy,s SOB is about the same Weight as my Montana and he does it with a 2013 F350 6.7 SRW ,he put Timbren overlaod's on his (I know they do not increase Payload ) but that rig does a Stellar Job of Towing AND Braking that rig and Your 3500HD Duramax will too so take a Tums and RELAX CHRIS

Chris, the weights I quoted were right out of the 2015 Montana brochure and the PW again was 2870#. You should be okay unless you add a fuel tank or really load up the front storage.

Given the numbers I guess there's no option but to cancel the 3791RD order. Slept like an hour last night. Sooo disappointed.

I would be willing to bet that there are more slightly overloaded rigs out there than not. The last time we went camping, there were several fifth wheels in the campground ALL being towed with single wheel trucks most of which were 3/4 ton. Some were over 40 feet long. The only dually in the whole campground was pulling a small TT.

We went ahead and bought a dually for the extra assurance plus we plan on a washer/dryer combo and our rig is ordered with a 290 pound onan gen set up front. But I would never hesitate to pull your combination with only being a few hundred pounds over. Some Firestone air bags and you would be fine.

I would really like to know of people that have towed overloaded, been sued, and actually lost anything because of it? I am sure it happens, just never hear of it.

We just got home from Myrtle Beach with ours. Pulled it throgh the mountains of WV with no trouble. It is a great floor plan with plenty of room for the 2 of us and 2 good sized dogs

FYI, Chris 199 asked for my tow vehicle info. I tow it with a 2015 Silverado 2500 HD 4WD SRW Duramax / Allison. Use a Curt Q20 slider hitch. We didn't have any issues with this combo.

Chris, I agree with bigskyjimmy. I haven't pulled a 5th wheel for many years until this one. I was a bit timid at first but after about 50 miles I got comfy and set back relaxed. Must have done okay the DW didn't hardly wake up!! Traveled within limits didn't try to push it beyond my comfort zone and all was good. We made it to Oceanlakes CG in Myrtle Beach had some good weather to relax and enjoy. Pulled it home up 95 through the DC Beltways and PA turnpike. averaged 10.3 MPG according to the calculations of the Silverado (It's allot smarter than me!).

We had a great time wish it could have been a longer stay!

I see a lot of interesting comments here. I just purchased this model at the Houston RV Show and took pownership of it on of all days Friday Feb 13th. I have been 5th wheeling part time now for 5 years so I am still new to this. I will say that both my and myseld do love the layout and storage. As for my truck it is a 2011 F350 SRW. My first pull with it was only 100 mile to Jamaica Beach RV Park. I will be heading back to IL on you got it April 1st. I will post how the truck does on the 1,000 miles home.
