Hells Canyon, Idaho

Any of you folks been to Hells Canyon area in northern Idaho?
Would appreciate any suggestions on cg's and things to see. Plan on taking a jet boat trip also.

Jim and Carla, Let me be the first to welcome to Idaho, even though it will be a while before you get here. When are you coming to our great state?
We have camped in cg on the way down to the canyon. Idaho Power has some cg along the Snake River at each of the damns, and they are very nice. There is not a cg at the end of the road, the last damn. This is the place that you can take the jet boat trips.
I will ask you how far do you want to go for excursions? There are things to do that may take a full day to travel and do then return to camp. Let me know and I will see what we can find out for you. If you want send a PM to me.

As Paul was saying there are nice CGs set up by Idaho Power some on Brownlee Resv. and along the river down to Hells Canyon Damn. But the only way past Hells Canyon Damn is on the river or hoofing it (foot or horse). There are many camping ops in Idaho. And like Paul, let me know if you need any help.
