I do not have the G in the corner mine says ProPlus. She assured me Montana does not have them unless owner had it installed themselves.

I am not sure because I have a 2019 Montana legacy 3730fl and was sure mine should have it but keystone says no. Why would 2018 have it but not 2029.

Pics of my DC with the GC logo in the lower right corner, the home screen, the HVAC screen, the app screen in bluetooth mode, and the app screen in wifi/"global connect" mode. Not sure what or why the difference from 2018 to 2019. My understanding is that the global connect feature was not a 2018 feature, I just got lucky/beta tester/trial status...

We purchased a 2018 3721RL that was manufactured back in Jun 17, evidently one of the first 2018 coming off the line. It has the In Command system on it but it doesn't control the level-up system, front jacks, nor the AC. It does control WH (Elec or Gas). I guess through time they have kept adding other features into the InCommand system.

I'm not familiar with the exact layout of your pump, but if there is not room for the drill and the bit to fit, buy a drill elbow. They are available at Lowes, and other tool stores. Just make sure the elbow accepts the size of your bit and fits your drill.

I can’t at all recommend the In*Command system. We have had issues with the slides working properly since it was new in 2017. The dealer serviced and replaced whatever they deemed necessary and it still sucks getting the slides out. I wish we never got it with In*Command. Otherwise we love our Montana. Go for the switches.

I have the Pro Plus version on my very late 2017 model (off the line March 2018). It does not control the HVAC units. I think the new version (Global Command) has more options.

My In-Command system has operated perfectly; I would buy that option again.

I have to think that you are correct about the global command units. I was under the impression that global command is what they were moving to for the 2019s, especially since it’s standard on the Cougars. Maybe something changed. I definitely like it, and haven’t had any issues with the system itself, just wifi connectivity at my seasonal campground, but I think we’ve got that worked out. However, the attachment does state that HVAC control is part of the package, even though it doesn’t mention the global connect.

If you call the support folks at Jensen, the INCommand System techs are very friendly and helpful. When I’ve been stuck they patiently walk me through the process step by step. (800) 688-3135 opt. 3

InCommand issues

Thank you I did but they were not to pleasant. They would rather deal with the dealer who is perhaps a bit sketchy on how to do the wiring. I am concerned they will not get the wires in the right place for the BCM. They are installing the hard wired one the bluetooth did not work or works very poorly.

The replacement board worked I could send out the hydraulic slide and not pull them in it would run for a second or two and stop. They reversed the connection on the valve and the slide outs came in just fine. So I think it's a board problem not a coach issue.

This is the third summer I have lost at least a month of use of the trailer in MN. Very frustrating for a 90K coach.

InCommand issues

Thank you for the information. The dealer needs a wire diagram they had wires in the wrong place. The used board failed now they are sending a hard wired board which should resolve the issues. Wished I could install it I have it done in hours but it will take weeks!

I hope no one takes it personally but I'm so glad we don't have that system.

Incommand Issues

No offense I like flip switches. All the electronics just leads to more issues and dealers are not IT people.

I just ordered the 2020 3120RL Legacy with solar package and had a few concerns about the in command as well. We get it late Feb 2020. As a retired Aircraft Electrician I wanted to know how they covered failures. Keystone has a great video explaining the triple redundancies in their system. They have really done a great job at accessing the control centre in the belly which is easy to maintain if ever a problem. Way faster than tracing down electrical problems the old fashioned way. Meaning cheaper service charges (time) after the warranty is gone. Plus the relays are common automotive grade which can be found at any auto parts store and are easy to replace. So if there is an issue than its easier to find a auto parts store than a competent RV dealer. They also have a secondary manual override switch for most functions that the app does at the command centre. You turn a selector knob to what ever you need activated and and then flick the override switch. If that is still gone, then you revert to the manual crank system just like a traditional rig, or whatever. I don't know all the features but its all in the video. I talked to my local dealer service manager (whom I know and trust immensely) and he says that the newer system have had all the bugs worked out of them and he has seen only very small issues over the last few years. He was very confident in the system. Happy trails and welcome to the future.

I was just going to comment on that In Command because I have the push button analog system and was thinking about replacing it with the new electronic system BUT I think your comment just talked me out of it. More crap to break

Big Lew. Are you sure your slide out issue isn’t the resettable circuit breaker problem? I have a 2016 and like the In command, it is a very early version without AC control. The annoying issue I have is losing sync with the BCM and having to periodically reset it.
