My first year HC375FL

Yesterday I had the privilege of picking up my 2016 Montana HC 375 FL from it last warranty work. It is not finished but the warranty was up 2 weeks ago. When I got it home it had dead batteries, that will not charge above 3/4 charge so the jacks errored, The furnace would not light until I inspected all wiring and then it started but who knows which wire I need to fix? The warranty Dealer dealer did a fantastic job of remounting the skirting so that the slides appear to be closed at the bottom instead of having 2 inch gaps, I have all new slide covers, window awnings, and dark smokey vent covers to block the sunlight. My cabinetry is all fixed when Keystone finally delivered the broken door replacements that took them 4 months to replace 6 door that were mounted incorrectly and the glue joints broke during winter storage. Of course I had to run back to the dealer as my power cord walked off while in his lot or shop. He was great about it as I now have a new power cord and an old one that I can cutoff and use for a generator cord.

So I am satisfied that I am well on the way to getting what I paid for. It has spent 10 of 12 months in the Warranty shop and has only been useable for two local camping trips. Keystone is the major reason for the length taking months to shop windows, doors, make up their minds on whether to pay for warranty work,

So my lesson for the day is Do a great PDI inspection, run the AC units, check all the fit and trim, take a day or more if necessary and, do not take it off the lot especially if you are buying it from General RV, until You are happy with its as is condition.

Someday I may learn to like My Montana as for now I do not trust it as every time it is moved or sits, something else falls apart. This may be the only time I was wise and did buy an extended warranty.

Glad you are finally satisfied. For what it is worth, our 2015 had major issues to include failed frig, improperly installed black tank, failed M/W and other stuff that did not start crapping out until 30 days into ownership/use. Everything was fixed/replaced under warranty in a timely manner, and we have been pretty well trouble free for the past two years to include two 6 month snowbird winters in Florida. Your 10 out of 12 months in the shop had to be miserable.
